Description:
SSHO criteria:
· Responsible for managing and enforcing the Site Health and Safety Program and is the primary source for all safety related matters on the project
· Ensures maintenance of a safe work environment and compliance with all applicable safety standards
· Performs on-site safety training, safety inspections, comprehensive safety reviews, and injury prevention analysis
· Manages the Hazardous Material Program and performs hazard prevention and control analysis
· Responds to, provides assistance and investigates all accidents / incidents
· Monitors all current information on regulations and requirements related to hazardous materials and agents
· Interprets various Federal, Corps of Engineers and State, laws, regulations, and statutes to determine applicability to the project site
The individual must also be qualified to carry all QCM duties to include:
· Administration of all quality control functions for the specific project that he/she is assigned to
· Authority to accept or reject all phases of the work required on each project
· Taking whatever actions necessary to assure a quality product is provided in accordance with the standards of good practice and the contract drawings and specifications for each project
Requirements:
USACE CQM Certification
OSHA Certification
All applicable training and certifications must accompany resume
All resumes must clearly demonstrate a minimum of 5 years previous experience meeting the criteria
